IxChariot Proxy Endpoint is a software development kit (SDK) that enables the creation of custom endpoints for IxChariot.
Runtime
IxChariot Runtime is a cost-effective version of IxChariot for the unique needs of field service, technical marketing and manufacturing groups. The runtime licenses provide more consoles for smaller tests (i.e. fewer performance pairs). Runtime licenses can be given to field engineers, who only need to run simple tests.
Automation
IxChariot has a programmable API which offers flexibility to build customized tests. Automated test cases help to reduce your test cycle times. The API also enables developers and integrators to build wrapper applications or link IxChariot to other reporting tools. The IxChariot API uses Tcl (Test Command Language).

In addition, an IxChariot plug-in is now available for Test Conductor , the industry's leading multi-vendor automation framework. Adding Test Conductor to your environment accelerates your time to test significantly, allowing you to integrate device or network configuration scripts with your IxChariot traffic scripts for maximum repeatability. Test runs can be scheduled to run at specific times, with specific pass/fail criteria, making it easy to report on network health or network upgrade progress.
